I can't believe how thick that thing is! Wow! You'd think I was a born archivists the way I have this thing sorted and kept. It's always enlightening and entertaining to re-read some of the "professional" critics' comments. Some feedback is accurate and some of course is downright biased! But hey, that's what they're getting paid for. San Francisco was a weird one. The main paper had been bought, and they had cut the staff that covered the arts, especially live theatre AND it was July! And as Marc Twain is thought to have said "the coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco". Too true. So, after pretty much begging the main daily to come out, he responded it was not on his list. Oh well, I got this nice spread in The Examiner! Thanks! And there were some audience members who came back twice to see the show with or without printed reviews!
