Today, we celebrate the centenary of Edith Piaf! She was born only 6 days after Frank Sinatra who has had many a birthday celebration (especially here in Las Vegas), but the celebration of Edith Piaf's centenary was mainly, and I suppose, understandably felt more abroad than here in the USA. No matter! For me, and mon amour, we had our own little celebration atThe Eiffel Tower Restaurant at The Paris Las Vegas overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. We rose a glass of Pernod, to toast this magnificent and unique force of nature - La Mome Piaf. I love her and I think her everyday for making the sacrifices she did to bring us such passionate music. Bonne Fete, Bon Anniversaire, Happy Birthday!

Naomi Emmerson star of Piaf Love Conquers All - the one woman musical about legendary French singer Edith Piaf. She has performed over 200 times for audiences across Canada and the USA and once in Indonesia. The set and costumes are also her creation. Naomi grew up in Montreal Quebec in an anglophone family.
